What is Adhesion Therapy?
Adhesion therapy is a type of manual physical therapy that aims to detach internal scar tissue, or adhesions, that can cause pain and limit movement. Adhesions are fibrous bands of scar tissue that can form between organs and tissues due to injury, inflammation, or repetitive motions. They can occur almost anywhere in the body, including the abdomen, pelvis, joints, tendons, and ligaments.
Employs manual techniques to dissolve adhesions and scar tissue, enhancing blood circulation and range of motion. The primary objective is to alleviate pain by lubricating the affected area and promoting the smooth flow of fluid and blood.
